Stem-changing verbs or Potverbs We’ve had a couple of examples in our vocabulary that were stem changing. Stem changing means that the du and er/sie forms are irregular. ich lese ich fahre er liest sie fährt hast (to read) (to drive) have) ich laufe du läufst ich habe du (to run) (to nehmen - to take ich nehme wir nehmen du nimmst ihr nehmt er/sie nimmt sie nehmen Was nimmst du?
