Use of ADwin under Linux
The ADwin function can be (up to kernel 2.6) used in all programming languages that support the integration of dynamic
libraries on Linux. With our ADwin drivers, you have direct access to communication and data exchange with your
ADwin system. To connect the ADwin hardware you Ethernet and the ADwin-Link interface available.
Userinterfaces on the PC
Linux provides for the development of user interfaces a wide range of programming languages and development
environments. Take advantage of the GNU Compiler Collection or toolkits such as Qt from Trolltech, Gimp, etc. ADwin
supports scripting languages PHP and Python. Also from LabVIEW, you can operate ADwin systems under Linux. The
platform-independent programming language Java communicates via the Ethernet interface with ADwin.

Communication and data exchange with ADwin via VIs. The functionality is identical to the Windows version.
Develop real-time processes for ADwin under Linux.
You have the option ADwin real-time processes with a text editor of your choice (eg. As Emacs, vi)
to write. The generation of the binary files for the ADwin hardware takes over our command-line compiler.
