Nansong Huang Nansong Huang wurde 1993 in Hei Longjiang, China geboren. Mit vier Jahren hat er angefangen, Klavier zu studieren. Seit 2002 und bis seine Aufnahme in die Julliard School of Music in New York im Jahre 2009 hat er an der Musikschule des chinesischen Zentralkonservatoriums in Beijing unter der Leitung von Prof. Zhang Jin gearbeitet. 2005 hat Nansong den 3. Preis beim Internationalen Liszt Klavierwettbewerb für junge Pianisten in Weimar gewonnen, wie auch den 1. Preis am V. Internationalen Wettbewerb für junge Pianisten “A Step Towards Mastery” in St. Petersburg. Im folgenden Jahr gewann Nansong den 2. Preis beim 10. Ettlingen Internationalen Klavierwettbewerb für junge Pianisten und den ersten Preis beim 2. Internationalen Seiler Klavierwettbewerb in Rathymno, Griechenland. Neben neun Preisen und Auszeichnungen an nationalen Wettbewerben in China, darunter der 1. Preis am II. Nationalen Steinway Klavierwettbewerb für die Jugend in Beijing hat Nansong verschiedene Preise bei Jugendmusikwettbewerben in Kiew (W. Horowitz), Minnesota, Salt Lake City (Gina Bachauer), Moscow (Hommage á Liszt), Manchester (James Mottram) gewonnen, bevor er diese rekordverdächtige Preisansammlung mit dem 1. Preis am 2009 Tschaikowski Jugendmusikwettbewerb in Seoul krönte. In den letzten Jahren hat Nansong Huang viele Konzertreisen gemacht, die ihn nach Japan, USA, Kanada, Deutschland, Russland, Korea, Hong Kong und natürlich China führten. Seine Konzerterfahrung konnte er in Zusammenarbeit mit hochkarätigen Ensembles vertiefen - er spielte u.a. mit dem St. Petersburger Symphonieorchester, Ukraine National Symphonieorchester, Minnesota Symphonieorchester oder dem Beijing Symphonie-orchester.
