Heat is transferred through moving liquid or gas.
Since the boiling water is a hot, moving liquid the
heat transfers to the egg and cooks it.
2. CONDUCTION


Heat is transferred through direct contact.
The frying pan is a heated surface so the egg
cooks when it touches the pan.
3. RADIATION


Heat is transferred through electromagnetic
waves traveling through an open space.
The heat waves travel through the space in the
microwave. They are absorbed by the egg and it
cooks.
