The Standard-Edition accesses full availability of existing information structures, reports
and macros. Information clusters can be activated, reports can be built and macros
can be performed either by mouse or by button.
The Standard-Edition includes both e-mail
sending of reports and exporting data into
other formates and the compatibility with
other programmes by mouseclick or DDEconnection.
Free configuration of surface and texts are
part of this version.
According to the meets of the user, the
functionality of the
Qualityexplorer Standard - Edition
can be completed with additional modules.
The Standard-Edition is available as Single- or Enterprise licence. This version is a
„Single Tree“ application in which only one tree (one information cluster) can be chosen.

The Professional-Edition contains the Standard-Edition features and all additional
modules. This makes the Professional-Edition a tool for all users to constructively
work with the Qualityexplorer.
The scope of available functions for different user
groups can be limited by a password. If there should
be a problem, the trained user is able to analyse
the situation via the design modules and if
necessary to put the information in a tree.
Adjustments to reports and programme
attachments can be performed immedeately. This
version is a „Multi Tree“ application with which
innumerous trees (information clusters) can be
selected.
Enterprise Edition
The enterprise licence of the ProfessionalEdition with all its functions allows you to
have full access to this edition on any
computer.

Profilemanager
The Profilemanager includes a user-administration and assigns configurations/profiles (informationcluster, layout,
password,..) to users or user groups. In addition, Standard-Edition users have access to more information clusters.
Treedesigner
Querybuilder
The Treedesigner is the core module to design information-structures
or -trees of their own.
The information clusters are combined with one another and saved
in tree structures. trees and clusters can now be created, copied,
deleted and saved. Apart from symbols, texts report connections,
the source of „non-database-information“ is selected.
There is an Objectbuilder available within the IQ-Soft Treedesigner.
The basic properties of information clusters - content of information
- macro assignments - parameters - automatisation regulations programme connections - and many more can be defined by means
of this module.
The IQ-Soft Querybuilder -in addition to the Treedesigner- is the best assistent to realise SQL-attachments by few
mouseclicks. The required information can be determined with the help of a graphic surface out of which the Querybuilder
generates the SQL source code. The result can be scrutinized in the integrated test field, respectively be corrected and
directly be transformed into the Qualityexplorer. The IQ-Soft Querybuilder supports the connection of several tables of
respectively different databases in one select clause. The table reclamations from the ORACLE database CRM for
example can be connected via the data field serial number to the table measure information of the ACCESS database
SPC, which leads to a comprehensive product information in order to meet the customers’ reclamations.
Macrobuilder
The IQ-Soft Macrobuilder -in addition to the Treedesigner- is the best assistent to configurate
automatised, user-defined macros. With the help of a graphic surface, one can produce
macros of their own out of a collection of automation clusters. The user is now able to
combine , test and manage them. The collection of automation clusters can be modified
and widened.
By the use of DDE-attachments in the macros, complex exercises can be designed.
One can create a macro which
reads measure data from a file or database,
saves them in a ASCII-file,
starts an external statistical programme (e.g. QS-Stat) via DDE,
coordinates the analysis,
takes over the respective results
and finally saves them in a database.
This macro can automatically be run on the desktop of the Qualityexplorer for one or
more databases. In conclusion, the user receives a database table including all
statistical results, which can be published as a complete quality report.
Reportdesigner
In addition to the Standard-Edition, we recommend the IQ-Soft Reportdesigner to design or modify report layouts.
The IQ-Soft Reportdesigner enables the customer to use it for tables, graphics, pictures and many more components.
An integrated expert makes it easy to quickly design first report layouts. This expert asks for the type of the report to be
made, the database, needed fields and other questions concerning the layout and automatically intrapolates the necessary
elements. Finally the report can be edited according to the users’ needs. If you wish to have access to further databases
or if you wish to exercise a special request, the Reportdesigner has the key to it. The design of graphic analyses such
as bar-, cake-, line- diagrams is also user-friendly. An integrated script language makes the Reportdesigner a helpful tool
which meets the users’ needs.
