Hohe Aktivität gegen CMV, HHV-6, HSV
Mässige Aktivität gegen VZV, EBV, Adenovirus.
Keine Aktivität gegen RSV
In der CMV-Prophylaxe bei Lebertransplantierten ist Ganciclovir vorzuziehen
