1. Gegeben sind die folgenden drei englischsprachigen Texte:

People love taking pictures of the Grand Canyon.
▪
Visiting the Grand Canyon from the North rim is more spectacular than
from the south rim.
▪
I dream of visiting the Grand Canyon one day.
a) Schreibe die folgenden drei Sätze ab und unterstreiche das Gerund
▪
blau- wenn es als Objekt verwendet wird.
▪
Rot- bei Verwendung als Subjekt und
▪
grün nach einem Verb mit Präposition.
b) Übersetze nun die drei Sätze ins deutsche. Hinweis: Das Gerund kann man gut mit
einem Infinitiv mit zu übersetzen.
2. Kopiere nun die folgenden Sätze, unterstreiche das Gerundium entsprechend und ergänze die
Sätze sinnvoll. Du solltest jedes Mal ein anderes passendes Adjektiv finden.
