You need to use your mouse to see this presentation © Heidi Behrens The future There are two (main) ways of talking about the future! • You can simply use the Present Tense, e.g. • German: Ich gehe morgen ins Kino English: I am going to the cinema tomorrow or • You use the proper Future Tense. Just take the correct form of the verb ‘werden’ and put the infinitive at the end of the sentence. Simple!!!! • German: Ich werde morgen ins Kino gehen English: I will go to the cinema tomorrow Achtung! The German ‘Ich will’ does NOT mean ‘I will’! It means ‘I want to’ – completely different thing altogether!
