Gardasil is a new vaccine for women. It protects from infection by
Human Papilloma Virus ( HPV ) which is the main cause of cervical cancer
and vaginal warts.
Total protection can be obtained by vaccinating young women prior to sexual
intercourse. From the age of twelve vaccination can be performed. The vaccine
consists in three dosages.

Gardasil è un nuovo vaccino per la donna : esso agisce contro l’infezione
del Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).
Tale infezione è la prima causa (99% dei casi) di cancro del collo dell’utero e
condillomi genitali. Il vaccino Gardasil, se somministrato prima di intraprendere
l’attività sessuale, procura una copertura assoluta.
Si consiglia quindi la vaccinazione (tre dosi) a tutte le giovani donne intorno
ai dodici anni.
