GERMAN 101 SYLLABUS Course description: A beginning course in German reserved exclusively for students who have had less than two years of German at the ninth-grade level or above. Students with two years or more of previous German study may not take this course for credit. Required texts: Grading: Deutsch, na klar! : An Introductory German Course. 4th ed. Extra credit of 5 % awarded for having no unexcused absences. The homework and lab assignments in the following schedule are due the next class day. Grading will be 0, √- (.33), √ (.67), or √+ (1). Late homework w/o permission will be lowered one level for each class day it is late. The Language Lab is located in Tech 353. At this time you will need to go to the Language Lab to complete lab assignments. I have requested networking of the lab audio files to permit remote access, but at this time that has not been accomplished.
