1. Schwerpunkte der wissenschaftlichen Aktivitäten:
Der Widmung des Instituts entsprechend befasst sich das Institut mit hämato-onkologischen sowie nephrologischen
Fragestellungen. Dies sind im Besonderen die Therapie von Krebserkrankungen sowie die Therapie von akuten und
chronischen Nierenerkrankungen. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt sind dabei die Hämodialyse und die Peritonealdialyse
(PD) als Nierenersatztherapien.
